The NUX NBK-5 Masamune effects pedal is a versatile tool for musicians, combining two effects—booster and compressor—into one unit. It offers flexible settings thanks to the option of signal routing, allowing it to adapt to any playing style.
The booster section is equipped with controls for adjusting the boost level (Boost Level), drive (Drive), and high-frequency cut (Hi-Cut). This allows for precise control over volume and tone, adding color and power to the guitar sound. The compressor section includes controls for compression level (Komp Level), sustain (Sustain), signal blending (Blend), and clipping mode (Clip). These provide control over compression, extend sustain, and add clarity to the sound, allowing for dynamic adjustment from light compression to full-bodied sound.
One of the key features of the NUX Masamune is the ability to connect an external footswitch, making it convenient for stage performances. Additionally, the pedal supports three internal signal routing options, including parallel effect connections, providing extra flexibility in shaping the sound.
