The Bad Cat Black Cat Combo is a modern take on classic tube tone, delivering unique character and exceptional dynamics. It offers a lively, spacious sound that meets the demands of discerning guitarists both in the studio and on stage.
Equipped with a 20W cathode-biased EL84 tube power amp, the Black Cat impresses with its volume and tonal clarity. Three 12AX7 tubes deliver rich dynamics and natural tube compression.
The amp features two independent channels: the first covers everything from clean tones to tight crunch, while the second provides saturated overdrive and a powerful hard rock growl. A unique two-band EQ and Cut control make it easy to shape your ideal tone.
The Black Cat works perfectly with pedals—both at the input and through the fully buffered effects loop. It also includes a studio-quality reverb and adjustable tube tremolo with intensity and speed controls for added depth and versatility.
The combo comes with a compact, all-metal two-button footswitch for switching channels and tremolo, as well as a protective slip cover. The built-in Celestion V30 Bad Cat Custom speaker delivers rich mids and sparkling highs.
A full set of speaker outputs (4, 8, 16 Ohms) and a line-out make it easy to integrate the amp into any live or studio setup, including Wet/Dry configurations.
The Bad Cat Black Cat earned the Premier Gear award from Premier Guitar magazine in 2023, highlighting its outstanding build quality and sonic performance.
