The DB500H features two channels with the ability to switch between FET and tube sections. You can blend these sections to achieve your desired sound. Controls are conveniently located at the bottom, including separate volume controls for FET and TUBE, a Drive knob, and an equalizer using selective mid-frequency curves and low/high frequency controls. The TILT function serves as an additional EQ control. This knob has a neutral position in the center. Turning it clockwise increases mid and high frequencies while decreasing lows, making the sound more articulate and suitable for live performances. Turning it counterclockwise decreases mid and high frequencies while boosting lows, resulting in a rounder sound.
The FX Loop allows you to add effects to the signal path between the preamp and output sections. The DB500H also includes a headphone output with volume control, a balanced XLR DI output for connecting to PA systems or recording interfaces without needing microphones, a ground switch to eliminate unwanted hum, and a stereo AUX input with level control.
