The Elektron Digitone is a new generation eight-voice digital FM synthesizer that combines the power of frequency modulation with the intuitiveness of subtractive synthesis. It is a tool for those who want to create unique textures - from hard, aggressive sounds to deep atmospheric landscapes. Thanks to the optimized user interface, working with FM algorithms becomes fast, easy, and extremely flexible.
Digitone offers 8-voice multi-timbral polyphony with a full-fledged architecture for each voice: multi-mode filter, base width filter, overdrive, two assignable LFOs. In addition, there is a sequencer for 4 synthesizer tracks and 4 MIDI tracks with support for arpeggiators, microtiming, parametric locks, and independent track length. This allows you to create extremely complex and lively sequences.
All sounds can be routed through built-in effects, including Panoramic Chorus, Saturator Delay, Supervoid Reverb, and global Overdrive. Thanks to the OLED display with crisp graphics, navigating through the functions is easy even in dark stage environments. The backlit rubberized buttons are designed for 50 million keystrokes, which guarantees long-term reliability.
The Digitone is equipped with a full set of I/O: two audio inputs, two outputs, a headphone output, USB 2.0, as well as MIDI input, output, and a pass-through channel. A power supply and a USB cable are included, making the device completely ready to use out of the box.
