The Kawai CN301 digital piano combines the brand's flagship innovations with home-use affordability to provide a realistic piano experience for musicians of all levels. At its heart is the Responsive Hammer III keyboard with full-size weighted keys, triple-sensor and release mechanism, which accurately captures the feel of playing an acoustic instrument. The Ivory Touch coating creates a pleasant tactile interaction, and the counterweights in each key add depth and control.
Harmonic Imaging technology is responsible for the sound, sampling all 88 keys of three premium grand pianos: Shigeru Kawai SK-EX, SK-5 and Kawai EX. The audio system with four powerful speakers (2×20 W) and 360-degree cones provides surround sound with minimal distortion. The special Low Volume Balance function maintains a natural touch even at low volumes, and Spatial Headphone Sound creates a three-dimensional sound picture in the headphones.
The CN301 supports Bluetooth® MIDI and Audio, enabling control via the PianoRemote app and music streaming. Other features include Dual, Split, and Four Hands modes, built-in Alfred lessons, a metronome, MP3/WAV/SMF recording to USB, and a Grand Feel pedal system that closely mimics the pedals of a concert grand piano.
