Arturia has officially expanded its stage equipment lineup by announcing the release of the AstroLab 37. This is a new, portable version of the revolutionary AstroLab keyboard, which retains all the versatility of the flagship model but offers it in a convenient form factor for musicians, producers, and live performances in limited spaces.
_Compactness Without Compromise

The main difference of the new model is its dimensions. Arturia engineers managed to fit the massive functionality of the "big brother" into a body with 37 keys. It uses a "slim" keyboard (reduced key size), yet velocity sensitivity and aftertouch are preserved. This allows musicians to perform expressive solos and dynamic parts while having an instrument that easily fits into a backpack or on a small desk.
_Flagship Sound Engine

AstroLab 37 is not just a MIDI controller, but a fully standalone instrument. Inside lies the same system as in the full-sized version. AstroLab includes Virtual Analog, FM synthesis, Wavetable, Granular synthesis, and Physical Modelling. Users have access to over 1800 factory presets covering 44 legendary instruments — from classic keyboards to cinematic hybrids. Thanks to deep customization, you can tweak the finest nuances, such as the hardness of piano hammers or the filter cutoff of an analog synthesizer.
_Ecosystem and Control

The new product guarantees seamless integration between studio and stage. Included is an Analog Lab Pro license, allowing you to edit sounds and presets in detail, and then instantly transfer them to the synthesizer's memory. The AstroLab Connect mobile app is provided for quick library management.
Modern wireless technologies are on board: Wi-Fi for data transfer and Bluetooth Audio, which allows you to trigger backing tracks or background music from your phone directly through the synthesizer's audio outputs.
Features for live performances:
- Bright color display with signature navigation wheel
- 4 macro knobs for real-time timbre changes
- Dedicated FX knobs (Delay/Reverb)
- Microphone input with vocoder support
- Arpeggiator, Chord, and Looper modes
Arturia AstroLab 37 is positioned as the ideal choice for those looking for a reliable and standalone instrument for travel and live performances, or as an addition to a keyboardist's main setup.
