Until now, LEWITT has offered microphones for recording and live performances, as well as audio interfaces.
And what comes after recording? That's right — mixing!
Space Replicator allows you to professionally mix, edit, and master audio — even without a studio.
To create professional mixes for music or video production, a reliable acoustic environment is necessary. But not everyone has the opportunity to work in an acoustically treated room. That's why LEWITT developed Space Replicator — their first plugin.
Created in the LEWITT Laboratory
The development of Space Replicator began in the LEWITT laboratory — a research group specializing in solving complex technical challenges.
It was there, for example, that the user response sensor appeared in the RAY — the first microphone with autofocus on the voice, as well as the ultra-low noise tube circuit in the PURE TUBE.

For Space Replicator, LEWITT developed a process that allows capturing real spaces and transforming them into virtual acoustic environments with extremely high resolution. How does it work?
Three-step process for the most realistic sound
When you are in a room and listen to music through speakers, the sound quality depends on the acoustic system and the characteristics of the room — its size, absorption, and sound reflections.
Your position in the room and the head-related transfer function (HRTF) also play an important role. HRTF, or binaural profile, describes how your hearing filters and perceives sound.
Imagine that in the illustration below your head is a sphere in the center. The points on the sphere represent different frequency responses of sound reflected from the room and reaching the ears from various directions.

For Space Replicator, the space and spatial perception are first separated, and then combined to tailor to your individual hearing and headphones for the most realistic sound experience.
These points provide our auditory system with information about the sound source location — based on the interaural level difference (ILD) and interaural time difference (ITD) between the left and right ears.
This shapes your individual perception of sound in a room. The capture process takes into account an unusually large number of such points — about 1500 separate filters — allowing the creation of highly detailed room models.
Initially, Space Replicator separates the space and spatial perception, then combines them to adapt to your individual hearing and headphones for maximum realistic sound.
At the second stage, it integrates with your personal binaural profile (HRTF), which you can create using Space Replicator.
To ensure the virtual acoustic reproduction of rooms combined with your audio system is not distorted by headphone characteristics, a headphone compensation profile correction is applied at the third stage.
As a result, you can experience the captured spaces as if you were really there, using your headphone model.
What the Space Replicator Plugin Does
Space Replicator enables people without access to acoustically treated rooms to create mixes they can trust.

Space Replicator is a stereo audio plugin you use on the master bus of your DAW. It creates virtual acoustic spaces in your headphones.
During mixing, Space Replicator transforms the perception of sound inside your head into the feeling of sitting in front of a professional acoustic system, which significantly simplifies working with audio.
It offers a wide selection of professional rooms for mixing and mastering — perfect for both critical listening and long mixing sessions, always with the natural stereo sound of high-class acoustic systems.
The plugin also allows you to check how your mixes will sound in different virtual acoustic spaces where your audience will listen — on a smartphone in the living room, in a car, or in a club.
