Ben Yeh was inspired to create this project by his 8-year-old son Bob, who quit piano lessons immediately after starting them. Ben Yeh, Bob's father and serial software entrepreneur, couldn't find an existing solution to get his son excited about learning music, so he created a device that makes learning to play the piano as fun as playing on an iPad. The little boy was thrilled and immediately got to work, learning to play the song "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" in just 20 minutes, all on his own, using a prototype smart piano (which later evolved into the world's first and only Apple MFI certified piano). Since then, The ONE has taught more than 200,000 people how to play piano, guiding them through the fun process of learning music and delivering the most enjoyable musical experiences.
