The Sabian HHX series is an evolution of the legendary HH, designed for a dark, rich, and tonally complex sound. HHX has long been the benchmark for dark cymbals thanks to its combination of deep tone, fast response, and versatility. Proprietary deep forging technology and meticulous surface finishing provide unique dynamics and musicality that are appreciated by both studio musicians and live performers.
The Sabian 21" HHX Complex Thin Ride combines HH and HHX forging, giving it one of the sweetest and most voluminous tones in the line. It is a large, thin, and dark ride with a distinct low resonance provided by the raw dome. It is responsive, musical, and reads well in the mix in both quiet and dynamic playing. The cymbal is made of high-quality B20 bronze alloy (80% copper and 20% tin), which guarantees a rich tone and durability.
