The Yamaha YV2030MS is the perfect vibraphone for musicians on a budget, beginner percussionists, and those in need of a compact instrument. The sound plates are made of the exceptional aluminum alloy also used in Yamaha's celestas, guaranteeing a soft and warm sound that blends perfectly with other instruments in the ensemble.
The unique gas-lift height adjustment system, which was previously only available in the highest-end percussion instruments, is now available on this model. This means that even the youngest musicians can adjust the instrument to their height and build with perfect comfort.
The patented damping spacers make height adjustment even easier and safer, helping to avoid careless movements that could lead to incorrect positioning of the instrument. The rubber spacers also help to eliminate noise and vibrations, ensuring a clear sound while playing.
The new model of the vibraphone uses a belt-driven damper, which eliminates the possibility of accidental deformation of the metal rod. This makes playing the instrument even safer and more comfortable.
The improved damper of the new model of the vibraphone provides better damping, as it contacts the sound plates perpendicularly, and not with the help of a swivel lever, as in previous versions. This also made the mechanism safer to use.
Oversized wheels make it easy to move the vibraphone around the studio or stage, ensuring smooth movement and stability while playing.
