Upgrading Sonarworks Reference 3/4 Studio Edition to SoundID Reference for Multichannel unlocks new possibilities for precise sound calibration in professional studios. This upgrade retains all your existing room and headphone profiles and adds support for multichannel setups — from simple stereo to complex 9.1.6 Atmos configurations.
SoundID Reference for Multichannel delivers accurate speaker measurements and calibration, letting you achieve a perfectly flat frequency response or customize it to your preference. The guided setup process minimizes user error and maximizes creative freedom.
The upgrade includes a new 90° microphone calibration profile compatible with multichannel measurements (for SoundID Reference Measurement Microphone or Sonarworks XREF 20), expanded DAW plugin support (AAX, AU, VST2, VST3), and a standalone app for stereo calibration (ASIO, WASAPI, APO, HAL).
You can export calibration profiles to supported DSP-enabled hardware, with over 10 device integrations. The plugin features zero-latency operation, precise phase alignment, and native support for Apple Silicon processors.
Note: A valid permanent license for Reference 3 or 4 Studio Edition is required, along with a compatible measurement microphone, mic stand, and audio interface with phantom power and supported sample rates. A stable internet connection is necessary to activate the product.
