The Neumann MCM 114 Set Brass/Sax/Uni instrument microphone is designed for professional use with brass and wind instruments, percussion, and on instrument stands. It is optimized for close-miking and delivers the most natural and clear sound, preserving all nuances of acoustic instruments without added coloration. The microphone is suitable for live performances, studio recordings, and concerts thanks to its reliability and consistent performance even in challenging conditions.
The MCM 114 is equipped with a KK 14 cardioid electret capsule, providing high accuracy in capturing sound from very quiet to very loud instruments. The capsule is made from eight separate components, assembled by hand, ensuring incredible tonal consistency, stability, and long-term reliability. The capsule’s titanium housing provides additional protection and durability, even under rigorous stage use.
