The Shure DH5 DuraPlex is an omnidirectional mini head-mounted microphone equipped with a TA4F connector for compatible Shure wireless transmitters. Built for the rigors of professional use, this rugged microphone delivers neutral, full-range sound ideal for capturing speech, dialogue and singing. The flexible, lightweight headset features a switchable stem mount and a neutral, see-through design. The microphone is IP57 rated and can withstand harsh environments, including sweat and dust. Suitable for use in theater, corporate events and broadcast television.
The DH5 DuraPlex features a 5mm miniature silicone stem capsule that can be discreetly placed on either the left or right ear. The microphone provides high gain before feedback, making it suitable for speech and dialogue at events with loud audio. To compensate for possible loss of high frequencies when positioning the microphone, a presence cap is included that boosts the 10 kHz range by about 3-4 dB for greater clarity and intelligibility. Designed to perform in harsh environments, the microphone features a durable, fully paintable 1.6mm Shure Plex cable. The double redundant ground in the cable serves as a secondary shield, giving it unparalleled strength and immunity to memory effect and kinks.
