Portable Studio Microphone Teenage Engineering CM–15

The Teenage Engineering CM–15 is a state-of-the-art portable studio-grade microphone designed for mobile producers, field journalists, podcasters, and anyone who demands the highest sound quality in any environment. Thanks to its large 1-inch diaphragm and ultra-sensitive capsule developed by Peluso, the CM–15 delivers incredibly detailed, clear, and rich sound.

The microphone has a supercardioid polar pattern, which effectively focuses the recording on the sound source while minimizing the influence of ambient noise. The built-in OPA140 JFET-based amplifier and ESS Sabre ES9822Q PRO analog-to-digital converter provide exceptional signal quality with a dynamic range of up to 120 dB. The CM–15 is capable of handling sound pressure levels up to 138 dB, making it suitable even for loud instruments such as drums or brass.

The model supports three simultaneously active interfaces: mini XLR with phantom power, USB-C for digital recording, and analog 3.5 mm output. The flexible power system allows you to work from the built-in battery for up to 10 hours, from USB, or via 48V phantom power. The aluminum body is compact and lightweight (132 g), and thanks to the universal 1/4“ and 3/8” mount, the microphone can be easily integrated into any setup, from a studio tripod to a handheld plug.
