The AKG D7 S is a professional dynamic vocal microphone that combines the clarity and detail of a condenser mic with the reliability of a dynamic one. Thanks to the patented Laminate Varimotion diaphragm, it delivers excellent clarity, open sound, and high stability even under extreme sound pressure levels. Its supercardioid polar pattern avoids feedback, making it perfect for the loudest stages.
The integrated high-pass filter effectively removes unwanted low frequencies and handling noise, enhancing vocal intelligibility. The humbucking coil minimizes electromagnetic interference for a pure, clean signal. Its rugged die-cast metal body, reinforced grille, and gold-plated 3-pin XLR output ensure lasting durability and stable performance.
The frequency range is 70–20000 Hz, sensitivity — 2.6 mV/Pa, impedance — 600 Ohms. The package includes the D7 S microphone, SA61 stand adapter, internal windscreen, and carrying pouch.
