The Sennheiser SKM 2000 BK-DW-X transmitter is a professional handheld microphone transmitter in a rugged metal housing. It operates in the frequency range from 790 to 865 MHz. Thoughtful design delivers high operational stability and everyday usability.
The unit is compatible with all ew series microphone capsules, including the MMK 965-1 true condenser capsule — a design whose wired sibling, the e 965, is already highly regarded by professionals. This lets users choose the best sonic character for their application. The model is available in classic black.
The transmitter features a backlit graphic display for easy reading even in difficult lighting conditions. A user-friendly menu simplifies navigation and configuration, while an auto-lock function prevents accidental parameter changes. External charging contacts enable recharging the BA 2015 battery directly in the transmitter housing.
The SKM 2000 BK-DW-X supports up to 6 groups with 64 channels each. Frequency tuning is done in 25 kHz steps and the switching bandwidth reaches up to 75 MHz. For interference-free operation it includes pilot-tone squelch, and Audio/RF MUTE functions allow flexible control of transmission. Transmitters can be synchronized with the receiver via an infrared interface.
