The digital bodypack transmitter Sennheiser EW-DX SK (Q1-9) is part of the Evolution Wireless Digital system. With its rugged metal housing and compact design, it is ideal for professional use – from classrooms and corporate spaces to concert venues and stage productions. The bodypack is compatible with a wide range of Sennheiser headset and lavalier microphones.
The device provides up to 12 hours of operation with the BA 70 lithium-ion battery (sold separately) and features charging contacts for in-device charging with the CHG 70N station. Thanks to the persistent E-Ink display, parameter information remains visible even when the batteries are removed. Functional buttons allow you to adjust settings directly on the transmitter, including a button lock and a programmable mute switch for flexible signal control.
The system delivers a 134 dB dynamic range, eliminating the need for manual sensitivity adjustment. The proprietary Sennheiser Performance Audio Codec (SePAC) ensures clean and detailed sound without distortion, regardless of the source. The transmitter also features a test tone generator, an instrument input with cable emulation, and a low-cut filter with five selectable settings.
EW-DX SK (Q1-9) operates with fixed RF power of 10 mW, providing a stable signal at distances up to 100 meters. Integration with Sennheiser Control Cockpit, Wireless Systems Manager, and the Smart Assist App makes it easy to configure and monitor the system remotely.
Note: When purchasing individual wireless components, please verify their frequency ranges to ensure proper system operation. The Sennheiser EW-DX SK (Q1-9) operates in the 470.2 - 550 MHz frequency range!
