The Sennheiser EW-D EM (Q1-6) receiver is designed for professional use with handheld and bodypack transmitters from the Evolution Wireless Digital series. The receiver comes in a compact housing that takes up half the width of a standard 19" rack. With its wide range of features, the system is an ideal choice for singers, musicians, lecturers, presenters, and anyone working with live sound.
Signal transmission is carried out via a digital wireless UHF channel, ensuring stable operation even in congested RF environments. Audio is delivered with ultra-low latency (1.9 ms), providing natural and perfectly synchronized sound with the performer. The system offers a dynamic range of 134 dB, preserving every detail of the sound without the need for manual sensitivity adjustments.
Integration with the EW-D Smart Assist app makes setup and control simple. Connection is made via Bluetooth Low Energy, giving the user full access to system parameters both directly from the receiver and remotely from a smartphone or tablet. The auto-scan function quickly finds available frequencies and minimizes the risk of interference, ensuring seamless performance even during large-scale events.
The Sennheiser EW-D EM (Q1-6) provides up to 56 MHz of bandwidth with 2,240 selectable frequencies, supporting up to 90 channels per band. The system’s operating range reaches up to 100 meters, offering great flexibility for stage use. A rugged all-metal housing protects the receiver from mechanical damage, making it reliable and ready for demanding professional environments.
Note: When purchasing individual wireless components, please ensure that their frequency ranges match for proper system operation. The Sennheiser EW-D EM (Q1-6) operates in the 470.2 – 526 MHz frequency range!
