The JBL SRX828SP is a high-performance active subwoofer designed for large-scale concert systems, mobile rentals, clubs, and installations where maximum pressure and controlled low-frequency reproduction are required. Equipped with two 18-inch drivers featuring JBL's patented Differential Drive™ technology, this subwoofer delivers extremely powerful and deep bass with an extended frequency range of 29-150 Hz. Thanks to dual ferrite magnets and 3-inch voice coils, the system maintains high efficiency and low distortion even at peak loads of up to 141 dB SPL.
The built-in Crown amplifier with a rated power of 2000 W and 1500 W RMS ensures stable operation even in challenging conditions. Advanced DSP processing includes a 20-band parametric equalizer, up to 2 seconds of delay, signal generators, input mixer, amplifier monitoring, and up to 50 user presets. The system supports proprietary LevelMax™ technology for sound protection and optimization, and is fully compatible with FIR filters and JBL V5 settings.
Control is via HiQnet (Ethercon) or iOS/Android apps. The rugged enclosure is made of 18 mm plywood and covered with scratch-resistant Obsidian DuraFlex™ material, making the SRX828SP a reliable tool even in the harshest touring conditions. Thanks to the M20 adapter, it can be easily integrated into cardioid arrays or vertical stacks.
