The Sennheiser EW-DP 835 Set (Q1-6) wireless system is designed specifically for filmmakers, broadcast interviews, and live productions. Operating in the UHF range, it ensures a stable signal even in challenging RF environments, unlike systems that rely on the crowded 2.4 GHz band.
The set includes a portable single-channel digital receiver (EW-DP EK), a handheld wireless transmitter (SKM-S) with an MMD 835 capsule (cardioid pattern), and a set of mounting accessories for attaching to cameras or gear. It’s simple to use, supports Bluetooth control via the Smart Assist mobile app, features an intuitive OLED display, and has a smart notification system that automatically suggests solutions when issues arise.
Thanks to its impressive 134 dB dynamic range, the microphone captures detailed and rich sound without distortion, while ultra-low latency (1.9 ms) ensures natural voice transmission. The system runs up to 12 hours on the transmitter and 7 hours on the receiver, supports USB-C power, and features flexible mounting options using a magnetic cheese plate.
