The Sennheiser EW-DP ME2 Set (Q1-6) is a portable digital UHF wireless microphone system. It includes a compact single-channel receiver EW-DP EK, a digital bodypack transmitter EW-D SK, and an omnidirectional ME2 lavalier microphone with a clip, along with a full set of mounting accessories and batteries for convenient on-location use.
The system provides stable and reliable digital audio transmission with a 134 dB dynamic range, delivering highly detailed, distortion-free sound. Connection and setup are done via Bluetooth and the Smart Assist app for iOS and Android, allowing remote control and quick access to free channels. The receiver’s OLED display simplifies menu navigation and gives all necessary information at a glance.
Durable magnetic mounts and a complete mounting kit allow for fast and secure attachment of the receiver to a camera or other surfaces, while multiple power options ensure long autonomous operation. The battery-powered transmitters last up to 12 hours, and the receiver up to 7 hours on a single charge, making the system ideal for long filming sessions and live broadcasts.
The ME2 omnidirectional lavalier microphone delivers clear and intelligible dialogue, while the optional ME4 cardioid lavalier helps isolate speech in noisier environments. The system supports up to 56 MHz bandwidth and up to 2240 selectable frequencies, with a digital signal latency of just 1.9 ms, ensuring perfect audio-video synchronization.
The set includes the EW-DP EK single-channel receiver, EW-D SK digital bodypack transmitter, ME2 lavalier microphone with clip, mounting kit (cheese plate, cold shoe, belt clip, screws), BA 70 lithium-ion battery, 2 AA batteries, TRS-to-TRS and TRS-to-XLR cables with locks, USB-C charging cable, and user manuals for quick setup and safe operation.
