The Allen & Heath DX012 is a signal amplifier for SQ, Avantis, and drive mixers and AHM matrix sound processors.
This unit features 12 outputs on XLR connectors and provides flexible switching options between balanced analog and digital AES stereo outputs 5 to 12. The AES outputs are globally switchable between sample rates of 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz, or 96 kHz
Redundant and cascade modes allow connection to compatible equipment or daisy chain up to 2 DX extenders per DX port. The device works in "plug and play" mode and does not require configuration.
The DX012 is ideal for powering monitoring systems and amplifiers, offering analog and digital outputs in a compact 1U form. It can be placed up to 100m away from the mixer for maximum location flexibility and has built-in lugs for mounting in 1U 19" rack space. The DX012 connects via a single Cat5e cable to a mixer or DX extender via an EtherCon port. Optional EtherCon port provided for redundant connection to compatible equipment or serial connection to the bottom DX expander for additional I/O.
