The Tascam Sonicview SB-16D is a 16-channel Dante stage box with analog I/O that provides seamless integration with TASCAM's Sonicview series of digital mixing consoles. With 16 microphone line inputs and 16 line outputs on XLR connectors, the SB-16D is ideal for both live and installed audio applications. It can be placed on the floor or rack-mounted (3U), and multiple devices can be easily connected in a Dante network with full redundancy support.
The TASCAM Class 1 HDIA microphone preamps equipped with each input provide exceptionally low noise (EIN -128 dBu), high linearity and wide frequency response. Built-in 32-bit A/D converters with up to 96 kHz sampling guarantee highly accurate digital conversion. Each input has a +48V phantom power supply and SIG/OL signal/overload indicators, which are also present on the outputs.
When the SB-16D is paired with Sonicview 16XP or 24XP consoles, all gain and routing parameters are accessible directly from the mixers' touchscreens or via the TASCAM IO Control app. This allows you to remotely set up the system and save configurations for different scenarios.
The SB-16D supports Dante in 32×32 (96kHz) or 64×64 (48kHz) modes and provides redundancy with dual redundant ports. This solution is ideal for professional sound systems where quality, reliability and flexibility are important.
