The Tascam Sonicview 16 is a state-of-the-art digital mixing console designed for studio, stage and live performance applications that combines the latest technology with TASCAM's legendary reliability. Equipped with VIEW touchscreens, customizable motorized faders, and a powerful 54-bit FPGA engine, this system sets new standards for precision and convenience in mixing.
At the heart of the mixing console are three independent touchscreen displays with an intuitive interface that allows you to instantly monitor any combination of channels, buses, or effects. Each screen is individually customizable, and VIEW modes (Channel Strip, Module, Individual) allow you to organize your workflow according to your specific tasks. The number of channels and processing options is truly impressive: 40 mono channels, 2 stereo channels, 4 stereo return effects, and 22 flex buses, each of which can be auxiliary, matrix, or subgroup.
Sonicview 16 has a built-in 32-input/32-output USB audio interface (32-bit/96 kHz), a stereo SD/USB recorder, and the ability to install an optional 32-track IF-MTR32 SD recorder. In addition, the console supports Dante and has an expandable architecture with various I/O cards, including MADI, AES/EBU, and analog I/O.
The microphone inputs are equipped with HDIA preamps, the highest quality available from TASCAM. They provide outstanding clarity and noise-free performance even with dynamic signal sources. With this console, you can safely record a concert, stream, mix a large ensemble, or deploy personal monitor systems via Dante.
