The MIDAS DN4888 is a state-of-the-art expansion module designed to provide flexible connectivity for professional audio systems. The innovative StageConnect standard allows for bidirectional transmission of up to 32 channels of uncompressed PCM audio over a standard XLR or DMX cable. This simplifies connections and minimizes the number of cable connections, while providing ultra-low latency of less than 0.05 ms. The DN48XX series, to which the DN4888 belongs, supports cascading multiple devices into a serial chain with automatic signal routing, which significantly speeds up work on stage or during installations.
The StageConnect ecosystem is compatible with a wide range of devices, including Behringer WING mixers, P16 personal monitoring systems, Turbosound iQ speakers and other Music Tribe products. With two Ultranet outputs, the DN4888 allows you to easily integrate digital audio streams into your existing system without additional equipment. This makes the device a versatile element for any professional sound environment.
