The Cranberries is an Irish rock band formed in 1989 in Limerick, Ireland. The band was originally called The Cranberry Saw Us and consisted of vocalist Niall Quinn, guitarist Noel Hogan, bassist Mike Hogan, and drummer Fergal Lawler. However, in 1990, Niall Quinn was replaced by Dolores O'Riordan, and the band changed their name to The Cranberries. Musically, the band classified themselves as alternative rock, but their sound also incorporated elements of indie rock, jangle pop, dream pop, folk rock, post-punk, and pop rock. In 1991, The Cranberries signed with Island Records and released their debut album "Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?" (1993), which became a commercial success.
Dreams: The Collection is a greatest hits compilation album by the Irish rock band The Cranberries. The album features the band's biggest hits, including the iconic song "Dreams," which brought the band fame in the mid-'90s.
