The BSS Soundweb London BLU-BOB2 analog output expander is a professional breakout box that provides 8 balanced analog outputs for the Soundweb London series systems. It receives a digital audio signal via the BLU Link interface and converts it into an analog signal for connection to external audio equipment.
The module uses the BLU Link digital bus, supporting up to 256 channels with low latency and high fault tolerance. Devices connect using a standard Category 5e cable for distances up to 100 meters, or up to 10 km with the BSS MC-1 fiber optic media converter.
Output channel selection is done using six DIP switches on the rear panel, allowing easy selection of any group of 8 channels. All outputs use balanced Euroblock connectors. The front panel features LED indicators for power and signal presence.
The unit comes in a standard 1U 19-inch rack-mountable chassis, ideal for professional audio installations. It is powered by an external 12V DC adapter, which is included in the package.
