Personal monitoring console for digital mixers Allen & Heath ME-1

The Allen & Heath ME-1 is a personal monitoring system designed to give every musician on stage complete and independent control over their own mix. This compact device allows performers to create the perfect sound balance in their headphones or in-ear monitors, significantly improving performance quality and comfort.

At the core of the ME-1 is the ability to process up to 40 input channels, each with its own level and pan control. An intuitive panel with 16 assignable keys and a bright OLED screen allows for instant viewing of channel names, levels, and other parameters that are automatically pulled from Allen & Heath mixers. The unique source grouping feature allows you to combine, for example, all the drum kit microphones without using up additional buses on the main mixer.

Sound quality is a priority: the built-in headphone amplifier provides clean sound, and the two outputs (1/8" and 1/4") make the unit compatible with any model. A built-in limiter is included for protection, and a 3-band master EQ allows for fine-tuning the overall sound of the mix. The built-in ambient microphone is a key feature for musicians with in-ear monitors, allowing them to hear the audience's reaction and communicate with colleagues without removing their earpieces.

The ME-1 integrates easily into any professional system. It works on a "plug & play" basis with Allen & Heath's dLive, SQ, and GLD series digital mixers. Thanks to the optional ME-U hub, the unit can be connected to consoles from other manufacturers (Digico, Yamaha, Avid) via Dante, MADI, or EtherSound. The ability to be powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet) significantly simplifies on-stage cabling by reducing the number of wires.

The meticulously designed construction includes everything needed for comfortable work. The package includes a microphone stand bracket and a headphone holder, allowing for a neat and ergonomic workspace. All mix settings can be saved to one of the 16 built-in presets and instantly recalled when needed or transferred to another unit via a USB drive.
