The Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 are smaller, more durable, have a sleeker, curved/square shape and better sound and noise cancellation than their predecessors, making them one of the best on the market. They're lightweight and IPX4 rated, which means they're safe in the rain or during tough workouts (just don't submerge them in liquid). The Sennheiser logo on the headphones is a touchpad for a full range of customizable controls including volume and noise canceling modes that work very well. Few of the competitors have so many options. The battery lasts approximately 6.5 hours of music playback with noise canceling enabled (7 hours without noise canceling). The case can fully charge the earbuds three times, and charging is via USB-C port or Qi wireless charging. It takes 90 minutes to fully charge the earbuds, but a 10-minute charge in the case is enough to add one hour of playback. The charging case is smaller than in previous models, but holds the same level of charge. The USB-C charging port and battery indicator are on the front. It's easier to keep track of your battery health. Open the case and the indicator will change color (green, yellow, red) to show the current charge level. The gray fabric that covered the previous model remains, and it adds a touch of style and tactility. MTW3 have Bluetooth 5.2 function and support many codecs including SBC, AAC and Snapdragon Sound. They also support the latest aptX Adaptive audio format, which when used with a compatible device provides better sound quality and lower latency. The earbuds can be used independently, which is convenient for calls.
