The dbx Di1 is a compact high-quality active direct injection box. Ideal for both studios and on the road, the Di1 will ensure audio signals reach their intended destination in both a balanced format and free from unwanted noise.
Connect the output from electric guitars, bass amplifiers, keyboards, etc., directly to a console mixer without the use of a microphone. Built for toughness and reliability, the Di1 has all the features of a fully featured gig-ready workhorse DI unit.
Plug your high-impedance gear into low-impedance equipment with the dbx DI1 Active Direct Box. Using a 9V battery or phantom power from your mixing board or interface, the DI1 takes the high-impedance signal which comes from instruments and other unbalanced TS or XLR sources and transforms it into a low-impedance balanced XLR signal. Low-impedance balanced signals can drive long cables without picking up interference or losing high-end articulation.
DI1 is an active direct box, with a high-impedance (1/4 "jack) input, a 3-position 0/20 / 40dB input level switch, a HF trim filter, gold-plated XLR connectors (Neutrik) and chrome-plated Premium switches.
