CD/Network Player/Recorder Tascam SS-CDR250N

The Tascam SS-CDR250N is a professional two-channel CD/SD/USB recorder with networking capabilities designed for installations, broadcast, conference recording and centralized audio management. It supports recording and playback from SD cards (up to 128 GB), USB drives and CDs, and two SD slots provide backup or relay recording for continuous operation.

The main advantage of the model is its deep integration with the network infrastructure. Thanks to the built-in FTP client and the ability to work as an FTP server, the SS-CDR250N allows you to automatically upload recorded files to a server or retrieve them for playback. Events can be programmed over time, for example, for background music or store announcements. Time synchronization via SNTP is supported to ensure schedule accuracy.

The recorder has XLR and RCA analog inputs/outputs, as well as digital AES/EBU and S/PDIF, which ensures compatibility with a wide range of professional equipment. Two phantom-powered microphone inputs allow direct connection of condenser microphones without the need for an external mixer.

With the TASCAM SS250 CONTROL app (iOS, Android, Windows, Mac), users can remotely control the device, including recording, playback, downloading, and setup functions. Additional expansion options include a Dante card (IF-DA2), the RC-SS150 remote control with color display, and the RC-3F foot controller.
