The ART Solo Series is an affordable, all-analog single-channel processor designed for studio and live use. It offers extensive tonal shaping capabilities with intuitive controls and the brand’s warm tube sound.

The Solo VLA is a rack-mount studio compressor that supports switching between optical (OPTO) and FET modes. This allows the user to choose between soft, smooth compression and energetic, accentuated dynamics. In optical mode, the signal passes through a 12AT7 tube, which adds a pleasant analog warmth.

The device is equipped with adjustable parameters of Threshold, Ratio, Attack and Release. There is also a Blend control for implementing parallel compression, which allows you to preserve the natural dynamics of the original signal, adding volume and density to it.

The compressor section can be completely bypassed for easy comparison, and a VU meter with mode switching monitors the output signal level or the degree of compression.
