Signal processor BSS Soundweb London BLU-100

The BSS Soundweb London BLU-100 signal processor features 12 analog inputs and 8 outputs, providing flexible routing and audio signal processing. Each input supports microphone or line level signals, with software-adjustable gain up to +48 dB in 6 dB steps and selectable phantom power (+48 V) for each channel individually. Phantom power status, signal presence, and clipping are easily monitored via front panel LED indicators.

The processor includes a 48-channel BLU link digital audio bus with low latency and high reliability, allowing connection of compatible devices via standard CAT5e cable up to 100 meters or fiber media converters for distances over 40 kilometers. The BLU-100 can operate standalone or as part of a larger system, compatible with Soundweb London devices (BLU-800, BLU-320, BLU-160, BLU-120, BLU-BOB) — its 48 channels correspond to the first portion of the expanded 256-channel BLU link bus.

Configuration, control, and monitoring are performed via the intuitive HiQnet Audio Architect software, which supports object-oriented logic and a convenient drag-and-drop interface. The device also supports a bi-directional locate function for quick identification within the network.

For integration with other systems, the BLU-100 features 12 control inputs and 6 logic outputs (GPIO), as well as RS-232 and Ethernet ports. Included with the software is the Soundweb London Interface Kit documentation to facilitate integration with third-party control systems. The device has a standard 19" rack width, 1U height, weighs 2.9 kg, and serves as a reliable foundation for scalable, high-quality audio systems.
