Integrated amplifier Rega Brio

Throughout the development process, the Rega Brio has been carefully refined in every aspect, from the quality of materials to the manufacturing process, making the new Brio a step forward in Rega amplifier design and engineering. Brio has a completely new case to house the improved circuitry and parts. It is now housed in an aluminum housing with a steel base, enhancing the Brio's heat dissipation capabilities and enhancing the Rega's already high quality and robust build. The sleek and minimalist appearance of the cabinet was designed to bring elegance to classic Rega style, while at the same time reminiscent of the ornate features hidden in past Rega amplifiers. The combination of all these aspects makes the Brio case unique among its competitors. The new Brio has a clever headphone socket specifically designed to avoid interfering with the audio circuit when not in use and, as you would expect, a very high specification phono stage is built in as standard.

Key improvements have been made to the scheme. The PCB layout has been completely redesigned to provide higher performance on all critical parts. A second power supply was added to provide additional isolation between the output stage and the driver stage/line and phono amplifiers. This improves the isolation between the high and low signal stages of the amplifier. The line and phono amplifiers use MUSES operational amplifiers with higher technical characteristics.
