RCF AM 2160 is an active mixer amplifier designed for professional audio systems. It is suitable for use with low-impedance speakers (minimum 4 ohms) or in constant voltage systems of 70/100V.
The amplifier is equipped with four universal microphone-line inputs on removable connectors, with the first input also featuring an XLR connector. In addition, there are two auxiliary AUX inputs that can be used to connect music sources such as CD players or tuners. There are two buttons on the front panel for selecting the music source.
One of the key features is VOX support on the first input, which allows the microphone to automatically turn on when voice is detected. The device is also equipped with phantom power for microphones, input priority settings, a built-in digital signal and siren generator, and a music-on-hold output.
RCF AM 2160 delivers clear and high-quality sound in a frequency range from 50 Hz to 14 kHz. Thanks to the Class D amplifier, the device ensures efficient energy consumption and operates without excessive heat generation due to convection cooling. The circuit design of the device includes protection against short circuits, overheating, and DC overloads.
The AM 2160 supports settings via DIP switches and the front panel, allowing sound to be tailored to specific requirements.
