The Crown CDi2000 is a high-performance dual-channel amplifier designed for professional installed audio systems. With Crown’s patented DriveCore™ technology, the number of internal components is significantly reduced, improving overall reliability, energy efficiency, and audio quality.
The amplifier features an integrated DSP processor, allowing precise customization including signal routing, input/output delay, parametric EQ, crossovers, and LevelMAX™ limiter. Control and monitoring are handled over TCP/IQ networks using the free HARMAN HiQnet Audio Architect software.
Models with BL suffix support BLU link digital audio transmission, enabling high-quality, low-latency signal distribution over long distances without unnecessary D/A and A/D conversions. Direct Drive outputs support 70V and 100V speaker lines, eliminating the need for external transformers.
The intuitive front-panel interface with a large LCD screen simplifies setup, while the GPIO/AUX port enables remote preset recall, channel muting, and amplifier status monitoring. Built-in JBL speaker tunings allow for fast and simple system configuration.
The CDi2000 delivers up to 800W per channel at 4 ohms, or 2000W in bridge mode at 4 ohms. Measuring 483 x 318 x 89 mm and weighing 9.97 kg, it’s an ideal choice for theaters, schools, houses of worship, and commercial installations where reliability and performance matter.
