TGX 4-channel power amplifiers are designed to power professional loudspeaker systems in mobile audio environments, such as cultural, corporate or sporting events, and other audio systems that require a very powerful multi-channel amplifier with sophisticated audio processing and audio/control networking. TGX amplifiers feature a 3.5-inch full-color touchscreen display. Touch functions allow you to quickly select control menu items. Navigation through the control menu is designed in such a way that all available functions are accessible using a rotary encoder. Editing the control menu parameter values is only possible using a rotary encoder with a specified step.
TGX amplifiers are equipped with a built-in OMNEO network interface – a network architecture for professional applications. Using standard IP Ethernet, media devices integrated into OMNEO can be assembled into a network of 2 to 10,000 interconnected devices that exchange studio-quality synchronized multi-channel audio and share control systems. OMNEO's transport technology for pro sound products uses Audinate's Dante. OMNEO System Control Technology – OCA (AES70), Open Control Architecture, is an open, public standard for managing and monitoring professional media networks.
The audio input connections on the TGX amplifiers are four dual-purpose XLR-F connectors. They process analog line level signals and can be switched to AES3. Four XLR-M connectors are used for daisy chaining of input signals. They receive the same signal as the XLR-F. AES3 inputs/outputs for channels A/B are located on XLR B connectors, for channels C/D - on XLR D. AES3 outputs are actively buffered when power is present and directly bypassed when power is not present. In addition to analog and AES3 inputs, TGX amplifiers can receive input signals from OMNEO or the Dante network. The input source for each amplifier channel can be changed from the front panel or via remote control software.
