Amplifier JBL VMA 1240

The JBL VMA 1240 is a versatile mixer amplifier that is ideal for commercial installations such as hotels, restaurants, educational institutions, shops, and conference rooms. The device combines the functionality of a 240 W mono amplifier with the ability to work with low- and high-impedance loads, making it extremely flexible for background sound systems, announcements, and multi-zone audio.

The amplifier supports 4 Ohm/8 Ohm connections as well as 70 V or 100 V distributed lines, allowing it to be integrated into any audio network. The JBL VMA 1240 has a wide range of analog inputs: balanced microphone/line inputs, RCA and AUX, as well as Ethernet for control. Audio can also be played wirelessly via Bluetooth or directly from a USB drive.

Thanks to its built-in features — independent bass and treble control, paging chime, and priority channel muting — the device is ideally suited to the real-world needs of installations. An efficient cooling system with forced ventilation ensures reliability even under heavy loads, and electronic protections prevent short circuits and overloads.

The compact 2U format allows the amplifier to be easily mounted in a rack, and support for JBL CSR-V volume controls allows convenient on-site volume control.
