The Crown DCi DriveCore Network 8|300N amplifier is built on the patented DriveCore™ technology, offering a perfect balance of compact design, efficiency, and audio quality. It belongs to the DCi series, developed to meet the highest industry standards for complex 21st-century audio installations.
This model features eight output channels and supports loads from 2 to 16 ohms, as well as 70V and 100V systems. In bridge mono mode, it supports 4–16 ohms and 140/200V loads, providing excellent flexibility for various professional setups.
The amplifier includes both analog and digital inputs, including HARMAN’s BLU-Link. The priority input switch automatically shifts to a backup source if the primary audio signal is lost.
DCi 8|300N supports network monitoring and control via the HiQnet™ protocol over a standard IP network, enabling remote configuration and operation using Audio Architect software or the Powered by Crown mobile app.
It includes programmable GPIO ports for external control functions such as volume adjustment, preset recall, or error notifications. The built-in DSP features LevelMAX limiters, EQ, crossovers, delay, matrix mixer, and speaker line monitoring.
Cooling is handled by a variable-speed forced-air fan with front-to-back airflow. Maximum fan noise does not exceed 47 dBA at 1 meter. The amplifier measures 483 × 89 × 362 mm (2U) and weighs 10.66 kg.
