The Xone:1D is a dedicated USB-connected and powered MIDI controller designed to control DJ software such as Ableton Live and Traktor3. It allows you to expand the capabilities of any DJ mixer by adding digital control, or connecting it to the Xone:2D to get an analogue of the Xone:3D - the famous mixer/controller.
In addition to the USB connection, the Xone:1D has MIDI 5-pin DIN connectors for connecting to other MIDI-enabled devices such as samplers, sequencers, etc. Just like the famous Xone:3D mixer/controller, all MIDI controls can be assigned to the software for use as navigation aids, giving the user tactile control over the software.
