Xone: K2 is a compact MIDI controller for use with any DJ software such as Ableton, Virtual DJ, MixVibes, Mixx and Traktor Pro. Xone: The K2 can even be used to control lighting or VJ software - if it can receive MIDI data, it can receive commands from the K2 as well. Each control is completely up to you. The Xone: K2 features 52 physical controls, including 12 analog and 6 push-switch infinite rotary encoders, 4 linear faders, and 30 backlit performance switches - providing up to 171 MIDI control commands across 3 levels.
High quality internal sound card provides flexibility and customization. Xone: The K2 comes in a black soft case as standard. The cabinet can be used as a stand, keeping the K2 at the same height as most professional DJ mixers.
Latching Layers allows controls to be assigned to multiple layers, so up to 3 functions can be assigned to a single physical control. You can customize all, some, or one of the K2 controls to communicate with the Latching Layers system. As a quick visual reminder, when you switch layers, all switches assigned to a specific layer will be highlighted in the appropriate color.
The slim body, soft touch controls and minimalist looks set the K2 apart from the rest. The controller is built to renowned Allen & Heath sound and build quality standards, including the use of steel nuts on all rotary controls to protect circuitry from impact damage.
