Mixing Console For DJ PLAYdifferently MODEL 1.4

The PLAYdifferently MODEL 1.4 is a compact, premium analog DJ mixer that retains the ideology, engineering and sound quality of the flagship MODEL 1, but in a more portable 4-channel format. Created under the direction of Andy Rigby-Jones in collaboration with Richie Gottin, this mixer is designed for professionals who seek maximum expressiveness in their sound and complete control over the mix - both in the studio and on stage.

The MODEL 1.4 is based on an all-analog architecture using high quality components and studio-grade circuitry. Each of the four channels is equipped with independent DRIVE control for analog overdrive, a semi-parametric SCULPT-EQ filter with asymmetric gain/attenuation, and high and low pass contour filters. Two AUX sends (one with a PRE/POST switch) allow you to integrate external effects or monitors. There are also two stereo retuners with trim control, level indicators and routing to both Cue systems.

The DualCue system allows two DJs to work simultaneously at the mixer or seamlessly replace each other in live sets. And the Mixer Link function allows you to connect multiple consoles to expand the number of channels. A balanced mix bus, 3-band master EQ, resonant main output filters, and analog power supply path with high-voltage rails guarantee a dynamic range of over 110 dB and ultra-low noise.

MODEL 1.4 is built in the UK in collaboration with DigiCo and Allen & Heath. The metal enclosure with fixed power connector ensures reliability in touring environments.
