Active PA Speaker dB Technologies OPERA 15

The dB Technologies OPERA 15 is a powerful two-way active loudspeaker system that combines innovative DSP algorithms, asymmetrical horn geometry and high power handling to deliver exceptional sound quality in live performance or content playback. Featuring an integrated Class D amplifier with 1200W peak power and 600W RMS, the OPERA 15 develops sound pressure up to 130dB while delivering clear, rich and balanced sound throughout the entire coverage area.

dB Technologies engineers have completely rethought the horn design to achieve asymmetrical vertical dispersion and double horizontal dispersion (85° up / 120° down), ensuring uniform coverage in complex acoustic spaces. The frequency range of the system covers 50 to 20,000 Hz, and the crossover is set at 2 kHz.

Signal processing is handled by a 56-bit DSP with linear phase FIR filters for crystal clear sound with no phase distortion. A rotary encoder allows the user to select from eight presets for different usage scenarios, from vocals to instrumental music.

The housing is made of impact-resistant polypropylene and features two ergonomic handles for transportation. The OPERA 15 also features a 45° tilt for use as a stage monitor, a rack-mount socket (36mm) and suspension points (3×M10), making it a versatile solution for mobile and installation use.
