Electro-Voice EVOLVE 90 is the flagship active column speaker system in the EVOLVE series, designed for the most demanding professional events where maximum power, deep bass, and absolute reliability are required. Thanks to an 18-inch subwoofer with a unique laminar vent, the EVOLVE 90 delivers tight and controlled bass response down to 28 Hz, ideal for modern dance music and live performances.
The upper array of eight 4.7-inch neodymium drivers, housed in a specially designed waveguide, provides a wide horizontal coverage pattern of 120° and vertical coverage of 25°, allowing for even sound coverage in large venues. The built-in amplifier has a power output of 2000 W (1000 W LF + 1000 W HF), allowing for a maximum sound pressure level of 134 dB without compromising sound quality.
The system offers advanced connectivity options: two combo XLR/TRS inputs for microphone or line signals, stereo RCA/XLR input, AES/EBU digital interface, Bluetooth® Stereo, QuickSmart Link, and PowerCON®. All functions are accessible for remote control via the EV QuickSmart mobile app. The EVOLVE 3-2-1 design ensures quick installation — three parts connect in two clicks to form a single integrated system. The kit includes a cover for the array and poles, and is compatible with a transport trolley.
