The EVID loudspeaker range has been designed to work as a complete system in a wide range of different designs. Pendant and ceiling loudspeakers provide wide dispersion, high efficiency, maximum power, easy installation and a wide range of music or voice reproduction.
The Electro-Voice EVID-P6.2 speaker system is a full-fledged two-way suspension loudspeaker. The kit consists of an enclosure, a magnetic grille, a rear enclosure, a 6.5" coaxial two-way loudspeaker, and an internal line-matching transformer. The loudspeaker is equipped with a titanium dome tweeter. EVID-P6.2 provides wide dispersion, high efficiency, maximum power, easy installation and wide range music or voice reproduction.
The EVID-P6.2 loudspeaker uses a 2nd order crossover network with comprehensive protection circuitry to protect the network, woofers and tweeters from excessively high power levels. The EVID-P6.2 speaker system uses a transformer that allows you to select the power of 1.88 (70 V only), 3.75 W, 7.5 W, 15 W or 30 W supplied to the speaker system through 70 V or 100 lines In, or bypassing 8 ohms. Selection is made via a convenient switch on the front panel, which is easily accessed by removing the magnetic grille. The perforated grille is finished in semi-gloss black or white powder enamel. The front panel, bezel and back housing are made of ABS plastic with UL 94V-0 rating. Connectors on the rear panel provide access to a 4-pin terminal block that allows you to connect speakers directly with 12-gauge wires and provides through-connection of additional speakers.
