The Electro-Voice EVID C8.2 is a powerful 2-way ceiling-mounted coaxial loudspeaker designed for professional installations where full-range music or speech reproduction with clear lows, crisp highs, and reliable performance in challenging infrastructure environments is required. Thanks to an 8-inch low-frequency driver and a 1-inch titanium diaphragm tweeter, the system delivers rich sound with a flat frequency response from 50 Hz to 20 kHz.
The ported phase-inverted enclosure design allows for deep bass even in a compact size. The maximum sound pressure level reaches 117 dB, making the C8.2 an ideal choice for large spaces such as shopping malls, conference rooms, educational and medical facilities. With a sensitivity of 91 dB and a power of 100 W (RMS), the model demonstrates stable performance in both low-impedance and 70/100-volt broadcast systems. The mode and power switch is located on the front panel for easy setup.
The system is installed using four mounting points, and the kit includes everything you need for quick and safe installation on a suspended ceiling. The perforated grille with white semi-gloss enamel can be easily painted to match the color of the room, allowing you to adapt the system to the interior design.
