The JBL Control 47LP is a high-quality installation ceiling speaker designed for applications where exceptionally stable sound coverage and extended frequency response are required. Thanks to its compact design with a shallow mounting depth, it is ideal for rooms with limited ceiling space, such as conference rooms, auditoriums, offices, retail spaces, and hotel interiors.
A key element of the design is Radiation Boundary Integrator™ (RBI) technology, which blends high and low frequencies into a single sound wave with exceptional uniformity across the entire coverage area. The 6.5“ woofer with a polypropylene cone and butyl rubber surround is combined with a 1” soft dome tweeter cooled by ferrite, which provides clear and accurate sound across the entire range — from 68 Hz to 20 kHz.
The Control 47LP supports both 8-ohm connections and use in 70/100 V distributed systems. The transformer is equipped with taps at 60, 30, 15, and 7.5 watts (the latter only at 70 V), allowing you to precisely adjust the volume according to the needs of the installation. With a wide coverage angle of 120°, this model allows you to reduce the number of speakers required without losing coverage uniformity.
The JBL Control 47LP has a full package of safety certifications (UL1480, UL2043, NFPA 90/70), allowing it to be installed in ventilation areas. The system comes in white with the option of painting to blend in perfectly with the interior.
