The Park Audio SM155-8 is a professional two-way passive speaker system, perfectly suited for use as a stage floor monitor or a satellite in subwoofer-satellite sound reinforcement setups.
This unit features a 15" low-frequency driver with a 2.5" voice coil, and a 1" high-frequency driver — both manufactured by LAVOCE Italiana. The SM155-8 delivers a wide frequency response from 64 Hz to 19 kHz, offering high sound clarity even at high volume levels.
With a dispersion of 90° horizontally and 60° vertically, it covers a wide area efficiently, even in challenging acoustic environments. The bass reflex (ported) enclosure enhances low-end response, adding depth to the sound.
The enclosure is made of durable birch plywood and finished with a wear-resistant black water-polymer-based paint. The drivers are protected by a perforated steel grille with powder coating, and an acoustically transparent polyurethane foam layer on the inside provides added moisture protection.
A mounting flange allows installation on a telescopic speaker stand. Connectivity is provided by two SpeakON connectors located on the rear panel.
The SM155-8 has a nominal power of 300 W (AES), a program power of 600 W, sensitivity of 98 dB, and a peak sound pressure level of up to 129 dB.
