Shelf Speaker Cambridge SX-60

The engineering of hi-fi speakers begins with the case. Computer-aided modeling (CAD) has been used extensively to optimize the internal structures of the SX60 so that when playing music, the cabinet remains stable and the drivers send sound exactly where it needs to go - to you.

The SX60 speakers feature a 165mm (6.5") woofer made from recycled paper. Hi-fi manufacturers have used paper for years due to its impressive strength-to-weight ratio and excellent tonality - making instruments sound richer, more expressive and more realistic. 25 -mm (1") soft-dome tweeters, made of treated silk, are responsible for the high frequencies - providing a balanced and refined sound.

The attention to detail in the SX60 is evident throughout. Under the woofer is a neat phase-inverter port that emphasizes low frequencies, giving the sound saturation and depth. On the back of the speakers are high-quality connection terminals that support the connection of thick cables - with or without banana plugs.

The updated, discreet design of the SX60 allows them to harmoniously fit into any interior. Leave the protective grilles in place to protect the drivers from damage, or remove them to show off your great taste in music (and speakers).
