The AMC SBS 10 active subwoofer is not just a low-frequency reproduction device, but the complete heart of an audio system. It's designed for building compact 2.1 configurations, as in addition to its own 10-inch driver, it powers a pair of external passive speakers. This is the ideal solution for creating a balanced and rich sound field in commercial spaces where sound quality and minimal equipment are important.
At the core of the SBS 10 is a powerful amplification system: 160 W is dedicated to its own woofer, providing deep and clear bass in the 20 Hz to 200 Hz range. Additionally, the subwoofer is equipped with two 60 W channels to connect satellite speakers. This allows you to create an impressive stereo image and achieve a full, rich sound without the need for an external amplifier.
For maximum flexibility and integration into any environment, the subwoofer is equipped with both balanced and unbalanced audio inputs, and is also compatible with 100V public address lines. For fine-tuning the sound to the room's acoustics, a built-in two-band equalizer is provided to adjust high and low frequencies.
The sub has a comprehensive protection system against overload, overheating, and clipping (signal limiting), which protects both the subwoofer itself and the speakers connected to it. Thanks to its features and durable MDF enclosure, the AMC SBS 10 is an excellent choice for sound reinforcement in small to medium-sized rooms such as restaurants, shops, conference rooms, and home theaters.
